In this book, Dr. Makoto recommends an anti-inflammatory diet that eliminates inflammatory foods while introducing low glycemic load anti-acne super foods. Each of the meals for this diet is easily manageable and quite nutritious in a well-balanced menu of the major food groups.

Foods containing sugar are very problematic and highly inflammatory for acne sufferers. Results are best with the elimination or avoidance of sugar, the cornerstone of this diet. Also important is eliminating all other major food sensitivities.

Although implementing diet restrictions may seem arduous and painful at first glance, it can be enjoyable. Focusing on clean, whole foods is primary, and this book provides many healthy and tasty meals. Some of the 150 recipes are:

It was organized nicely with the causes of acne

This book provides a new perspective to medication-free resolution of acne.

It was organized nicely with the causes of acne, how to recognize various types of pimples and most importantly, how to treat it effectively with diet and supplements.

The information is backed by research, which was a nice change from the hundreds of acne blogs that are just based on off-the-cuff advice.

I have suffered from mild acne for years that I was able to clear in 2 months by treating my gut - one of the routes this book recommends.

The diet plan was enjoyable and realistic with a great selection of delicious recipes.

Definitely recommending this book to anyone I know who still struggles with acne!

This book was very helpful. Myself and some relatives to whom I referred to this book have adult acne that we were able to control with the methods here.

It helped that it was nicely laid out and easy to follow.

This was exactly what I have been searching for. Methodology was straightforward and realistic and content was well-referenced with studies.
